oh sweet nothing

It continually amazes me how such goodness can come into my life.

Good Things this week:
-sweet funny Laura Rockett
-good encouraging words and letters from my wonderful friends in Baton Rouge
-I saw Dan Bejar! I have a crush! He kind of looks like a Muppet?
-Lots of good late night driving with good late night music
-Yes, we can grill (and by we, I mean mostly Michelle) and cook delicious food. And I set a rather fine table as well. i'm sorry, a tablescape. That's my new favorite word.
-Boggle! I don't know why I get so excited about it, because I always lose. Womp womp.
-Even though I've lived in Nashville for awhile, I can still be surprised and happy at the good music that my friends make.

And this weekend will hopefully be full of laziness, and cleaning, and movies. I really really want to see Iron Man. Like real bad.
I've also considered getting another tatoo and I think I know what I want!! woot!

And I'm reading Winter's Tale by Mark Helprin which is just as awesome as I hoped it would be. Surreal and magical. I mean, I could dork out and talk about it for daaaayz.
