Self-helping

I rarely read self-help books because I have huge amounts of misplaced self-esteem.

But Cindy suggested this one about my "renaissance soul." Apparently my soul isn't as indecisive and lazy as I thought. I'm not saying I'm not indecisive and lazy (oh, trust me, I am). Just that I have a lot of different interests and need to find some way to "harness" them. Like I'm this wild Horse of Many Varying Enthusiasms (I have had lot of coffee today, please excuse that sentence). Gosh, today must be Life Lesson Thursday.

It's funny how we still hang onto this theory/idea/dream that there is just one purpose and one job we are meant to do. That finding the perfect job or career will make everything else fall into place. Am I really that simple? I mean, don't we (I mean humanity) contain multitudes? Aren't we all like onions?

I don't even have answers for that.
Note: There are no answers in this blog.
