I woke up this morning thinking, "is something (someone?) nomming at my foot?" I look up, expecting, I don't know, the cat, the dog, things that go "nom" in the night?
Oh no, it's just a random sharp screeching pain that is located on my heel. You know, the part of the foot you use the most. The part you walk on, balance on, keeps you from limping. The good part.
It's almost funny (And by "funny" I mean disappointing, strange and oddly appropriate. That's usually what "funny" means in my blog. Make a note of it.) how most of my physical pain is based in my feet. Fractures, broken toes, lots of bug bites (seriously, it's miserable, don't laugh). I almost never get colds, or the flu. Nope, I just hobble around awkwardly.
If I were to be over-dramatic and read way too into it (and I am. and I will) I could say that I'm being supernaturally hobbled. But I think an explanation or an inquiry into that might be too much for my soul at 9:17 a.m.
In other words, blogged two days in a row! Woot!
I also was thisclose to getting the new Sigur Ros last night for free, but I forgot to ask. Also rented Naked Lunch and Dark Victory. I'm excited about both.
